What if I made a yutyrannus…..

3d printing a base by dragonartist15 on etsy. I love their work and they had a sale, so I obviously had to buy another 3d file from them! And I finalized my yuty character last night AND I’ll get to use some fur fabrics I’ve had lying around. Yippee!!

And I think I’m gonna finish sewing the head and ears on my hippogryph.

AHHHH first post!! i hope yall like this cute little fluffy one-shot cause i had a fun time writing it. recs are open!!

while you couldn’t quite put your finger on it, something about sleeping in percy’s bed made naps better. the warmth of his skin as he pressed into you was a feeling that would never get old. there you laid, basking in the sunlight that filter in through the window. you were tangled in percy’s sheets and blankets. he had white sheets, with little sharks printed on the fabric, and a light blue duvet. you could feel him shift in the space next to you, gripping your waist and pulling you further into him.

he let out a gentle huff that tickled the skin of your shoulder. judging by the way the sun sat in the sky, you two had napped until around five pm. carefully, you began to shuffle out of his tight embrace.

“Mmm—where ya’ going, angel?” percy grumbled, voice clearly gone due to his slumber.

“to paint. you look so pretty. couldn’t help it.” you shrugged sheepishly, sitting down at your easel. percy had taken it upon himself to get painting supplies in his cabin because he didn’t want you to leave, which benefited both of you.

“your paints will be there later. . . !” he drew out the final syllable in the last word. you giggled at his annoyance, dismissing his protests to you painting.

you picked up your paint pallet, getting a base color on the entirety of the ivory canvas. as your brush danced across the surface, you answered percy. “chill out, water boy. i’m right here. just wanna start this before i lose the idea.”

“what’s the idea?” he sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes and leaning back on his hands. he looked at you with such an intense gaze, eyes focused on the movements of your hands as they guided the brush.

your eyes connected, “the ocean. it’s gonna be for you.”

“you know what would be even lovelier for me? you coming back to bed. miss you.” he flopped back down, gesturing for you to take back your place next to him.

“give me one minute. just to finish the base color.” you continued, covering the final place on the canvas before getting up to rejoin him. he noticed your movements towards him, getting comfortable in the bed once again. you laid back down next to him, head resting on his chest while he traced shapes on you back. “you’re so clingy.”

“mhm. only for you, sunshine.” he closed his eyes as his breathing became even once again. soon after him, you succumbed to the hypnos’ realm.

safe to say, chiron was not happy about you two skipping dinner for the third night in a row.

How did you make your head for your Mr puzzles cosplay? (I’m trying to make my own, and I want to get some ideas for the face mostly.

Ok! Lemme tell you how I made mine)

It's gonna be a long one so...⬇️

The head

1) Make the simplified 3d model

It's only base. Without knobs and vent

Here's the link (to open it you'll need pepakura viewer)

This link is pdf (just glue sides with identical numbers)

2) Print it!

I used high thickness paper, so It would be more sturdy

Next is a long one, so you'll need scissors (scalpel) and a lot of patience

3) Cut out pieces

And don't forget to number them (If you're using the program it will be easier to assemble)

4) Glue pieces together

5) Cut out the hole for the neck

6) To make head even more sturdier we will strengthen it with plastic (not necessary)

I used 3d pen and pla plastic and covered the whole surface of the head with grid

7) Cover with thin foam

I used white, 3 mm one

This face didn't make it btw

8) Paint!

I used metallic paint and also painted edges black for the cartoony effect!

How to wear the mask?

For head to be fixed in place I glued polystyrene foam (I had few big blocks left)

And to how actually get it on head I made a door that holds on metal hinges

Knobs and vent

Knobs were made out of cardboard and covered with foam

Meanwhile the vent was created completely out of foam

The hat and antennas

The felt hat was found in the arts and crafts store

Yet couldn't say the same for antennas

Base was made out of cardboard and then covered with polymer clay

As to how I attached them?

And the last but definitely not the least

Screen

The screens glass was made out of palette made of plexiglass (that's also the reason why here it's green)

on the photo the same pallet but this one I actually used for paint

Faces were made using the same white foam and acrylic paint

For the screens to hold up I glued small clamps to the base. This thing allows me to change faces)

That's how mask looks from the inside

As to how I see through them

Yep there's a hole in the mouth, covered with black plastic canvas. Yes the vision is a bit blurry this way, but it's better than seeing nothing.

Neon: My punishment is to go shopping for new clothes...?

Jaune: Yes, shopping for new clothes is your punishment.

Neon: That doesn't sound so bad?

Jaune: Coco, wanted us to waterboard you, but Glynda, and I voted for this instead.

Neon: You would have waterboarded me?! Are you freaking serious?!

Yang: They did it to me for wearing crocs...

Neon: W-What...?

Cinder: They did it to me for wearing an unstylish outfit...

Neon: R-R-Really...?!

Cinder: If they did it to us over such simple things...

Yang: They won't hesitate to do it to you...!

This c.1925 Gilded Era townhouse in New York City, NY sat for sale on the market for 3yrs. The owner decided to redo some of the rooms, and still not having sold, it's just been removed from the market again. 6bds, 7ba, 8,500sqft. $20m. (No pets allowed in building. Well, there's your problem.)

The original main hall was dark, but had character. It was lightened up, but at least they put a printed wallpaper on one wall to add a little interest.

Original sitting room with a dining area before, in deep tones.

They made it into a modern dining room.

The sitting room had a contemporary pale gray velvet pallet.

They redecorated with updated modern furniture.

The kitchen wasn't touched, it's exactly the same with the black cabinetry and white counters.

In the primary bedroom they kept the wallpaper, but updated the furnishings. The bamboo canopy bed was replaced by a lower, plainer modern one, plus new furniture and accessories.

The ensuite bathroom stayed exactly the same.

The den was a bit dated before.

It's been updated except for the sideboard, and the large dining table was replaced.

This formerly pink bedroom got new furnishings and was completely rearranged.

This children's room was completely reconfigured.

This bedroom became a sitting room.

And, here's the old and new TV room. They kept a few walls with the old wallpaper.

There are 4 floors and this is the elevator.

It looks like they added a small home gym.

And, this is the back yard/garden.
